British People aren’t very smart

No, seriously. It looks like David Cameron might win the elections.
The know nothing leader of the do nothing party will probably become this country’s prime minister, and this would be funny if it wouldn’t personally affect me.

Mind you, the fact people honestly believe Gordon Brown is to be blamed for the global recession is the best sign the national IQ has taken a dip into the negatives. Maybe it’s because people are genuinely dumb enough to believe this that I despair for this country.

I know most people have no fucking clue as to how the global economy works, but seriously- how dumb do you have to be to believe the UK’s prime minister is to blame for a crisis of global proportions? Poor Gordon is NOT the nefarious mastermind who plotted this- he is a victim at best.

Incidentally, there IS a specific reason why the UK is so slow to recover. That has something to do with Mr Cameron’s Party and its beloved leader Mrs Burn In Hell Thatcher wrecking the hell out of the bespoken British manufacturing industries. Britain does not produce things- and that’s why it’s hard to recover. So maybe the morons who want to put the same party in power should consider thinking about what happened last time the conservatives were in power.

While Gordon doesn’t have Tony Blair’s gift of the gab and his selection for the prime minister position was a seriously bad one (the guy is a decent financier but he lacks the barking talents a good politician needs to have in order to shut up his opponents with dumb words) – he didn’t create the global recession. And if you think you’re having it bad- keep this in mind: the Tories would probably make the UK into the USA- where people live in tent cities because they lost their homes and all of the jobs are gone to China, never to return. The UK is not yet there.

Also it might be worth asking where do the Conservatives get all those money for their aggressive campaigning?

If I’ve learned anything in my life, it’s that the best question to ask is “where’s the money coming from”. The larger a candidate’s coffers are, the biggest the hand up his arse playing him like a puppet. For an illustration of how that works see Obama, Barack.

So, if you’re amongst the fools who believe that David Cameron has any solutions to anything, ask yourself what is it that he’s ever achieved by himself.
His empty words in the MPs spending scandal should tell you that the man says one thing and does another.

And if you’re thinking “it can’t get any worse” , you’re a moron. Think of a Britain with no social safety net. Cameron does not have a plan to redress the economy or to create jobs. Why? Because his party never cared about creating jobs- but they have always been very good a destroying them- ask anyone who lived through the 80’s.

The Bill Clinton Cult

There is a tendency amongst what passes for American liberals to worship Bill Clinton as the “ideal president”. It’s understandable. These people last lived well under Clinton, and after 10 years of strife and constant lowering of their standard of living, it’s natural they would have an idealized image of him.

Of course the problem with American liberals, which at best are centrist or slightly left leaning centrist from the point of view of us European pinkos, is their willful blindness.

Yes, THEY lived well. And that matters. But none of them bothers to remember that all of this came at a price.

And why is that? Because they didn’t pay the price.

Others did. My town in Romania paid the price when some nice American businessman came and bought the hosiery factory that fed half the town … only to shot it down because it made cheaper. The poor bastards in Yugoslavia bombed by American planes in 1999’s Easter night did. The poor people of Haiti sold once again into American corporation slavery paid. The list goes on.

Don’t get me wrong in any way shape or form, I don’t hate Bill Clinton. The guy had his good parts, and from all the presidents America had in generations, he was the least assholish of the lot.

It takes an unbelievable amount of naivety to believe that an American President could be anything but a shrewd politician who has already taken his heart out and sacrificed it on the altar of the Gods of Capitalism that rule the USA.

Make no mistake, no politician worth a quarter of his or her salt will have any delusions about the power of the people myth. There’s no such thing. The people of the USA are kept pacified with commodities they can’t afford in order to not realize they are mere wage slaves and puppets to the Gods of Capitalism.

And these American liberals have the same illness. I don’t quite recall any of them protesting the embargo on Iraq back under old Bill. Of course they didn’t. Innocents were dying from lack of medication and food, but that meant fuck all to the people who still had their cars and homes and jobs.

Do not get me wrong. Bill Clinton was a good president for the USA. The job of the president is to look after his people’s well being, in this case the illusion of comfort and plenitude that gets paid for by pillaging the world’s resources and screw you if you don’t like it.

The difference between Clinton and Bush the Second is minimal, but relevant: Clinton didn’t screw over his own people (too much).

When Good Old Bill took power, America was not a country anymore. It was nothing more than the heavy fist of a bunch of corporations, used to enslave and pillage the rest of the world, while its own people were being kept in the dormant state of the overfed.

Under these conditions, It is fair to say that Bill did the best he could by his people. That may make him a good president and probably a pretty decent human being, but that’s not enough.

In his defense, no American president has a chance in hell to get elected if he tells his people “you are too lazy and too greedy, your lifestyle is an illusion and your very standard of living is an undeserved burden upon the rest of the world”.

People don’t like being told they’re bad people. Even if they are.

It’s true, but that’s not the sort of truth people like to hear. Americans, and, let’s be honest, most of the people in the parts of the world where comfort has been present for the past half a century or so, do not regard themselves as being in any way privileged, but entitled.

By virtue of where they were born, they feel entitled to food, shelter, opportunities and safety. And screw everyone else.

If Bush would have provided a minimal amount of comfort to his people, few if any of them would have been batting an eyelid to his wars. They only revolted because he cut into their lifestyle.

So please, stop with the Clinton cult. Credit where it’s due, but by virtue of his job, as POTUS, Bill was the planet’s biggest pillager for 8 years, and many places on this Earth still carry the mark of his work.

Sorry folks. I’m one of the people who paid for your lifestyle, and you have done nothing to deserve it. Spare me the crocodile tears: if you’d still had what you had in the 90’s. none of you would give a flying fuck about what your revered soldiers- nothing more but criminal members of an imperialist conquest army- are doing to other people just so you can have your hamburgers , jeans and SUVs.
